CS2 Update Adds the Huntsman Case & Sticker Capsule
Today’s update brings a ton of new community items, a new item collection that starts dropping right away, new HUD customization options, and a round of bug fixes.
The headline is the Huntsman Weapon Case, which introduces the all-new Huntsman Knife as its rare special item. Alongside it, The Bank Collection begins dropping for every player, and the first Community Sticker Capsule arrives with 17 stickers.
The Huntsman Weapon Case
The case contains community-designed finishes from the Huntsman Collection, and its rare special item is the brand new Huntsman Knife, available in 13 different finishes.
The Huntsman Collection
The Huntsman Collection holds 20 new community-designed finishes. Most of them can be unboxed from the Huntsman Weapon Case, and all of them can be picked up on the Steam Community Market.
The Bank Collection
The Bank Collection is the second collection arriving with this update, and it starts dropping right away. Its 15 community-designed finishes are not tied to a case at all - you simply receive them as regular in-game drops.
Community Sticker Capsule 1
Just like the earlier capsules, it needs a CS:GO Capsule Key to open, and any sticker inside can be applied to any weapon you own.
Notable Items
A few items from this update stand on their own. The M4A4 Howl ships inside the Huntsman Weapon Case, and the four stickers below sit outside Community Sticker Capsule 1. All five have since been pulled - the Howl was reclassified as Contraband and can no longer be unboxed at all.
