How does the X-Ray Scanner work?
The user can place any container inside his X-Ray Scanner, and the scanner will show the user the item which drops from the container. However, by putting the container into the scanner, the container will be consumed, and it cannot be taken out of the scanner anymore. Additionally, only one container can be put into the scanner at a time.
The user can then buy a key in order to open the container and get the item inside. However, if he doesn't want to buy a key to obtain the item, he cannot put any more containers into the scanner, meaning he cannot inspect the content of any other containers, and he cannot open any other containers.
It's not gambling if the user knows what he gets beforehand, right? Right, Valve... you did it again!

Additionally, every X-Ray Scanner comes preloaded with a free P250 X-Ray skin, which is not tradable.
