The new Armory skins are now available on CS.MONEY

The world of CS2 weapon skins is ever-expanding, with Valve constantly shipping new cases to the game in order to keep the player base busy and engaged with new content. Throughout the years, the community has received a plethora of weapon skins from cases, drops, operations, and other sources. However, not all of them have been blessed with the best looks.

Let’s face it, CS2 skins aren’t made equal by their creators. While some skins can be absolutely stunning to look at, others aren’t very easy on the eye.

No, we’re not talking about the Consumer Grade skins that anyone can get by leveling up - those are meant to look bad. However, there are a number of skins with a rarity of Mil-Spec or above that look so horrible that you might be better off using the default guns.

In this article, we’re gonna check out the absolute worst CS2 skins of all time that you should steer clear of when trying to purchase weapon skins for the shooter. As mentioned earlier, we’ll only take into account skins that are graded Mil-Spec (Blue) or above.

Top 7 Worst CS2 Skins Of All Time

Here are some of the ugliest and most horrible skins that you may encounter while playing CS2. If you see one of your teammates with these skins, you may consider trying not to request any drops from them for the rest of the game.

1. AWP Acheron

The AWP Acheron was introduced to CS2 back in 2018, and it’s still one of the worst-looking AWP skins in the game to this day. The Factory New variant of the Acheron looks quite awful despite having a black scope and will cost you upwards of $2, while the Battle-Scarred version is even hard to look at.

2. P90 Death By Kitty

This can come as a hot take, since a portion of the player base may religiously defend this skin, but the Death By Kitty skin for the P90 is as messy as weapon skins can get. The high price tag of over $40 on the Minimal Wear variant is primarily due to its rarity, but you’re probably much better off buying a cheaper P90 skin that doesn’t give you a seizure every time you look at it.

3. M249 Magma

M249 is already an unpopular gun in CS2, and equipped with the Magma skin, it’s as bad as it can get. This Mil-Spec skin was first introduced to the game as a part of The Winter Offensive Collection in 2013, but despite being such an old skin, it has an extremely low price tag of about $1 due to its strange appearance.

4. G3SG1 Demeter

The Operation Bravo Case is one of the costliest weapon cases in CS2 and features some of the priciest weapons in the game. But if you’re planning to open one of these cases, you better pray that you don’t receive the G3SG1 Demeter. The mosaic hydrographic paint on the gun is no better than some cheap counterparts like the Polar Camo, and it’s almost exclusively used for trading up to a better skin from the collection.

$7.86

5. FAMAS Neural Net

You only need to take one good look at the Neural Net to rule it out as one of the worst skins in CS2. Even in a Factory New condition, the Famas Neural net looks so terrible that you’ll prefer picking up the default gun over the skin every single time.

$1.55

6. UMP-45 Corporal

The Operation Phoenix Weapon Case has some gorgeous skins in it, but the UMP Corporal sure isn’t one of them. While it’s a pretty cheap skin, it won’t take long for you to be able to find alternatives that are leagues better.

7. AUG Copperhead

While most of the skins in the Dust Collection look pretty bad, the AUG Copperhead takes the cake. The snakeskin-patterned finish on the gun is pretty unique, but looks absolutely hideous.

Starting at
$83.50

Conclusion

And this concludes our list of the worst weapon skins to be ever released in CS2. It’s important to note here that the choice of weapon skins is entirely a matter of personal taste. You may not agree with some (or most) of this list, and that’s perfectly fine.

What you choose to buy for your CS2 inventory is completely up to you, and if you’re going for a specific themed inventory that requires you to purchase one of these skins, you should go for it.
