Description

A cheap option for cash-strapped players, the FAMAS effectively fills the niche between more expensive rifles and the less-effective SMGs. A pattern of a wiring diagram has been applied. Please consult an electrician before conducting your own repairs

History

The FAMAS "Faulty Wiring" was first introduced to Counter-Strike 5 years ago, on September 21st, 2021. It was released as part of the Vertigo 2021 Collection, alongside the "Operation Riptide" update. The skin was created by Valve itself instead of a community designer.

Origin

The FAMAS "Faulty Wiring" can be obtained from 6 different containers. This includes the Stockholm 2021 Vertigo Souvenir Package, Antwerp 2022 Vertigo Souvenir Package and Rio 2022 Vertigo Souvenir Package. The skin is also part of the Vertigo 2021 Collection.

Popularity

With a popularity of 88%, the FAMAS "Faulty Wiring" is currently in the top 12% of the most popular items in CS2. This popularity score is based on recent user engagement and market activity for the skin.

Rarity

The FAMAS "Faulty Wiring" is one of 331 Rifle skins. The rarity of the skin is Consumer Grade, which makes it a pretty common drop with a chance of 16.00% from the Vertigo 2021 Collection. That is roughly 1 in every 6 drops.

Availability

With a price range between $0.22 and $2.27, the FAMAS "Faulty Wiring" is a very affordable skin. Fortunately, it's currently widely available and can be purchased on multiple different markets.

Versions

The float value of the FAMAS "Faulty Wiring" ranges from 0.00 to 0.50, which makes the skin available in all exteriors. For each exterior, there also exists a Souvenir version of this skin.

Finish Style

This FAMAS skin has been painted in the "Anodized Airbrushed" style, with the Faulty Wiring finish. This style emulates applying the candy coat via freehand airbrushing. This particular skin has been mostly painted in shades of black. The look of the Faulty Wiring finish is affected by its pattern index. The skin uses the new CS2 model.

Community Sentiment

The FAMAS "Faulty Wiring" has received 3.6K votes on CSGOSKINS.GG, leading to an average rating of 3.8 out of 5 stars. The skin is currently also owned by the professional CS2 players NAF, Stewie2K and VINI.
