Description
The Nova's rock-bottom price tag makes it a great ambush weapon for a cash-strapped team. A tan and blue hydrographic pattern has been applied to the stock and receiver. The barrel has been painted dark blue. "A welcome sight" would be putting it lightly
History
The Nova "Quick Sand" was first introduced to Counter-Strike 5 years ago, on September 21st, 2021. It was released as part of the Dust 2 2021 Collection, alongside the "Operation Riptide" update. The skin was created by Valve itself instead of a community designer.
Origin
The Nova "Quick Sand" can be obtained from 6 different containers. This includes the Stockholm 2021 Dust II Souvenir Package, Antwerp 2022 Dust II Souvenir Package and Rio 2022 Dust II Souvenir Package. The skin is also part of the Dust 2 2021 Collection.

Finish Style
This Nova skin has been painted in the "Hydrographic" style, with the Quick Sand finish. Disassembled weapon parts are lowered through a floating hydrographic film on the surface of a water tank. The film adheres to the primed weapon parts, covering the surface with a pattern. This particular skin has been mostly painted in shades of gray. The look of the Quick Sand finish is affected by its pattern index. The skin uses the old legacy model.
