Description
A cheap option for cash-strapped players, the FAMAS effectively fills the niche between more expensive rifles and the less-effective SMGs. It has been painted in an aquatic-stripe pattern with charcoal metallic paints of various reflectivities over a chrome base coat. Water gives life, but it can also take it...
History
The FAMAS "Dark Water" was first introduced to Counter-Strike 5 years ago, on December 3rd, 2020. It was released as part of the Ancient Collection, alongside the "Operation Broken Fang" update. The skin was created by Valve itself instead of a community designer.
Origin
The FAMAS "Dark Water" can be obtained from 8 different containers. This includes the Stockholm 2021 Ancient Souvenir Package, Antwerp 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package and Rio 2022 Ancient Souvenir Package. The skin is also part of the Ancient Collection.
Popularity
With a popularity of 88%, the FAMAS "Dark Water" is currently in the top 12% of the most popular items in CS2. This popularity score is based on recent user engagement and market activity for the skin.
