Description
The classic Sawed-Off deals very heavy close-range damage, but with its low accuracy, high spread and slow rate of fire, you'd better kill what you hit. It is still perfectly operational although the exterior surfaces have rusted. Some people don't need to hide how dirty their deeds are
History
The Sawed-Off "Rust Coat" was first introduced to Counter-Strike 12 years ago, on July 1st, 2014. It was released as part of the Cobblestone Collection, alongside the "Operation Breakout" update. The skin was created by Valve itself instead of a community designer.
Origin
The Sawed-Off "Rust Coat" can be obtained from 10 different containers. This includes the ESL One Cologne 2014 Cobblestone Souvenir Package, DreamHack 2014 Cobblestone Souvenir Package and ESL One Katowice 2015 Cobblestone Souvenir Package. The skin is also part of the Cobblestone Collection.
Popularity
With a popularity of 87%, the Sawed-Off "Rust Coat" is currently in the top 13% of the most popular items in CS2. This popularity score is based on recent user engagement and market activity for the skin.

Real-life weapon patinas include case hardening, cold bluing, and acid forced patinas. This particular skin has been mostly painted in shades of gray. The look of the Rust Coat finish is affected by its pattern index. The skin uses the old legacy model.
