Description
An ideal pistol for the Terrorist on the move, the Tec-9 is lethal in close quarters and features a high magazine capacity. Parts of the weapon have been replaced with brass. Fool's gold
History
The Tec-9 "Brass" was first introduced to Counter-Strike 13 years ago, on August 14th, 2013. It was released as part of the Inferno Collection, alongside the "Arms Deal" update. The skin was created by Valve itself instead of a community designer.
Origin
The Tec-9 "Brass" can be obtained from 8 different containers. This includes the ESL One Cologne 2014 Inferno Souvenir Package, DreamHack 2014 Inferno Souvenir Package and ESL One Katowice 2015 Inferno Souvenir Package. The skin is also part of the Inferno Collection.
Popularity
With a popularity of 88%, the Tec-9 "Brass" is currently in the top 12% of the most popular items in CS2. This popularity score is based on recent user engagement and market activity for the skin.
Rarity
The Tec-9 "Brass" is one of 448 Pistol skins. The rarity of the skin is Mil-Spec Grade, which makes it a rather rare drop with a chance of 1.61% from the ESL One Cologne 2014 Inferno Souvenir Package. That is roughly 1 in every 62 drops.
Availability
With a price range between $2.80 and $154, the Tec-9 "Brass" is a very affordable skin. Fortunately, it's currently widely available and can be purchased on multiple different markets.
Versions

Finish Style
This Tec-9 skin has been painted in the "Patina" style, with the Brass finish. A patina is a chemical reaction that forms a non-reactive, hardened shell over metallic parts. Real-life weapon patinas include case hardening, cold bluing, and acid forced patinas. The look of the Brass finish is affected by its pattern index. The skin uses the old legacy model.
Community Sentiment
